The H.E.A.R.T. Center works with individuals to maintain Physical, Social, Cognitive, and Emotional functioning.
The skills, self-confidence and empowerment children gain while participating in sports and recreation activities, transfer into their daily lives and help them to become healthier, happier, and more productive students and individuals. The program introduces children with disabilities to new ways of being healthy and active.

How It Works:
Recreational Therapy programs are individualized to meet the needs and goals of each client. Upon registration, your therapist will set up a time to do your initial assessment and consultation. Treatment will be billed for 8 sessions and will be held one time per week. Services will be provided in home, or at local recreation facility and provided by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
