Are you ready to make an impact?

There are numerous ways to get involved and help us continue changing the lives of so many young adults. Your support matters.

Become a Donor

As a non-profit we thrive on the continuous support of our community to help us grow and make an impact. Below you will find the links to our most current fundraisers and learn how you can help support The H.E.A.R.T. Center!

We are currently raising money to purchase our own property!

Volunteer

When you volunteer with The H.E.A.R.T. Center, you get the ability to change lives.

There is simply nothing more rewarding than being a part of the little moments that have the power to change a child's life. Our horses are the healers that allow children to grow. They are the voices for those who can't speak, mobility for those without strength, and the most incredible teachers for all who come into contact with them.  At The H.E.A.R.T. Center, volunteers are the catalysts that enable positive life change in children with special needs.

We need volunteers in many capacities, and wouldn’t be able to provide programming without volunteer support. Committed volunteers will gain membership to our HEART Center online education portal in order to have access to ongoing education and training!

Active Opportunities:

  • Assist students in safely interacting and riding their horse during weekly riding sessions. During TR sessions, volunteers are needed to lead horses and/or sidewalk along students to ensure safety and support! Volunteers must go through H.E.A.R.T. Center training before participating.

  • Interested in supporting our students during our sports and recreation classes or our adaptive camps? You don't have to be a horse person to work with us! We always need dedicated volunteers to support our students in activities other than horses too. Reach out today for the current class schedule.

  • Our horses work tirelessly to help our students, and we need volunteers to give our horses the extra attention and care that they so deserve. Horse Care Volunteer responsibilities include: turn out / turn in, feeding, bathing, grooming, clipping, longeing, training rides, and more. Extensive horse experience required.

  • Are you passionate about the work we do? We need your support in sharing it with the world so we can continue to generate the funds needed to support our program.

Have any other special talents you think might benefit our organization? We are always looking for additional support so if one of the above roles doesn't interest you but you resonate with our mission, contact us today to learn how else you can get involved!
