Starting January 2025, The HEART Center is expanding its proven Microschool model to serve elementary students through the new **Foundations Program** — a pilot branch of our existing upper-grade Microschool.

Built on the same core philosophy that’s transformed our high school students’ education, this program brings our movement-based, equine-assisted learning approach to neurodivergent learners ages 6–11.

The Foundations Program is a two-day-a-week educational enrichment experience that blends equine assisted learning, academic engagement, and purposeful movement — all rooted in our signature model of **Education Through Recreation.**

This pilot is the first step toward a full-time elementary expansion in the future. Whether your child is homeschooled, struggling in traditional classrooms, or simply needs a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported — this program is designed for them.

🐴 What Your Child Will Experience

The Foundations Program isn’t just hands-on …

it’s Whole-Child, Whole-Brain, Whole-Body education.

At The HEART Center, we:

- **Presume competence** in every learner

- Use **Multi-Modal Communication** to ensure every child has a voice

- Teach through **Movement, Relationship, and Co-Regulation**

Each week, your child will:

- Work with horses through 1 mounted + 1 unmounted session

- Participate in small-group enrichment classes (math, reading/language arts, STE(A)M)

- Engage in purposeful motor-based learning to support academic access and emotional regulation

- Practice social skills, communication, and executive functioning in real-time, natural environments

We intentionally blend **structure + flexibility**, so students who struggle in rigid or traditional classrooms can access education in a way that honors how their brain and body work best.

We’ve designed this pilot program to offer an incredible level of support, motor coaching and enrichment — Your child won’t just feel like they *belong* here — they’ll finally feel understood.

What That Tuition *Really* Covers

We know $1,200/month can feel like a big commitment — especially when it seems like every week brings another $1,200 therapy intensive, another co-pay, another program that only addresses one piece of the puzzle.

But this isn’t just 7 hours of school.
And it’s not another single-modality therapy session.

This is a whole-child, whole-brain, whole-body experience — built to support academic learning, emotional regulation, and social development in one place.

Here's what your child gets every month:

🐴 8 Equine-Assisted Learning Sessions
→ $640 value (2x per week, both mounted + unmounted)

🧠 Built-In Regulation + Life Skills Practice
→ $300+ value (replaces OT, SEL therapy, executive functioning coaching)
